Boating and water sports are popular and lots of fun. Mobile entertainment adds to the fun while presenting installation challenges different from those found in car stereo applications. BOSS Marine products address these challenges with coated circuit boards (sealing out moisture), sealed switches and CD compartments to keep water out. Waterproof materials such as polypropylene and several plastics are used wherever possible to ensure performance and durability in marine conditions.

Service and delivery was great. I will install them in my boat when the weather improves. Thanks.

Installed this pair of speakers inside the cabin of a 25' sailboat using homemade speaker boxes (about 7x7x4 using 1/4" oak) and after hooking them up to a marine stereo (Clarion M275), they sound very nice. With the stereo volume set to 1 out of 33 you can hear them just fine if there's no outside noise! We didn't go louder than volume level 13 even with the motor running as it would have been way too loud. We've only had these installed for a month, but since both components are "marine" we expect them to last for a long time.

One of two boxes had a broken speaker. The two that I hooked up sound decent as long as the Bass is kept to a minimum. Good midrage - highrange sound. For the money, great speaker. But, definitely not a preferred speaker if money wasn't a limitation during purchase.

**I'm not sure if it says it anywhere on the product description, but you get 2 speakers (a pair) with quantity 1 selected.**
These marine grade speakers are a solid value. Constructed of durable materials, they have stood up to wind, water, sun, cold, warm, etc. Very powerful and loud sounding, they are a good buy.
