I wired ceiling and outdoor speakers with this 12 gauge spool. It was flexible and easy to use. The plastic insulation is probably thicker than it needs to be, but it is oxygen-free and the strands are extremely bright and shiny when exposed. I searched a long time before getting a deal this good.

Most home surround sound systems benefit from a cable upgrade. This 12 gauge wire works perfectly with the 7.1 system that I installed recently. The rear speaker runs were longer than the cables that came with the system (happens often). This cable handled the extra distance and held the signal to spec. It's a good idea to tin the wires prior to install.

This wire was as it should be, good quality for a fair price. Neg and pos clearly coded.
